Prescriptions
This practice can provide prescriptions for Prescription-Only Medicines – Veterinary (POM-Vs). You have two options:
- You can obtain these medicines directly from us.
- Alternatively, you can request a written prescription and purchase the medications from a Pharmacy or online Pharmacy.
Please note:
There is a fee for written prescriptions.
Our Veterinary Surgeons can only prescribe POM-Vs for animals under their care.
A prescription may not be appropriate if your pet is staying with us or needs immediate treatment.
We’re happy to provide the price of any medication we may dispense—just ask.
Repeat Prescriptions
Our standard policy is to reassess pets requiring repeat prescriptions every six months – this is a legal requirement.
